The
NoStain Bore Controller
There
are two types of Iron contamination of water bores. Dissolved Iron
and Bacterial Iron. Many properties have both types of problems
This
unit is a 250 litre reservoir that is filled with water and mixed
with the stain stopper solution. Inside the unit is an injection system.
The unit is connected to the bore with 15mm high pressure poly pipe,
and can be fitted to a submersible or a centrifugal pump.
How
Does It Work?
When the reticulation unit is started, a small amount of pressure
is fed through the injector. Stain Stopper solution is injected into
the water coming from the bore. The Stain Stopper solution attaches
to the iron particles in the bore water and prevents oxidization,
(rust). Therefore there is no stain.
Before the sale, a water sample is required and sent to our laboratory
to test the content of the bore water.
The NoStain Bore Controller does not require any electricity, as it
works with the water pressure from the bore.
There are two small filter that need cleaning, and the unit needs
topping up with the Stain Stopper solution every 2 to 3 months depending
on the amount of time the reticulation is run.
