Bore Doctor
There are two types of Iron contamination of water bores.Dissolved Iron and Bacterial Iron. Many properties have both types of problems Type 2 Bacterial Iron This is, Bacteria in the ground, if present organically oxidizes the iron (Rust). This combines and produces a sticky slimy mass, which can produce rusty staining, blocking of pipes, valves and sprinklers. There are two treatments required,First TreatmentThe bore needs to be cleaned with an appropriate bore cleaner. This will remove all existing contamination.Second TreatmentBoresaver Liquid is to be injected down the bore once or in some cases twice a week. This will kill the bacteria and prevent staining and blockages. It is important to note bacteria will return overtime, therefore weekly treatment is critical. For a Submersible pump, pour Boresaver liquid by hand, into a pipe going down the bore. For a centrifugal pump, if there is no bore casing, a pipe must be installed below the check valve. The Boresaver solution needs to be well shaken before putting it down the bore and needs to remain in the bore for about 48 hours. The
NoStain Bore Controller. Model 100B. This unit is designed to automatically
inject Boresaver Liquid into the bore. This unit has 2 components
